The fan base is so apathetic and uninspired now they can't even fill a 3rd of Austins stadium, and we are barely 3 pages in on a Gold Cup game thread.

Sad times indeed, because no one seems to care.
The play is definitely part of it, but I also think it doesn't help that we have no World Cup Qualification. Those matches in past cycles were where some of the liveliest match threads were on here.

With a 9 profile as he is, you have to be clever with positioning, hold up play and runs, to name a basic few. Haven’t seen any of these attributes yet, except that “he works hard”. But that should be a minimum standard for all players.

Still dumbfounded on why players can still grab the ball and run off with it while the team in possession is trying to get it without getting a card.
