At 35 Zimmerman has to work twice as hard and recovery takes twice as long as his 25 year old counter parts. He did pretty well all things considered but CCV is shadowing him. He'll be put out to MLS pasture with yedlin.

Dest could have definitely followed his man into the box, but Z was ball watching the cross and then was caught flat footed.
The 3rd goal was just awful for Robinson, as bad as goal #1 was for Adams. You can’t give a world class player 10 yards of space marking a guy already marked by your CB inside the 6 yard box.

Those 2002-2014 squads had so much grit and swag. The last two cycles the squad has become way more beta and soft and way less cool. It’s probably because Gen Y and Gen Z now run the show. No more Gen X dogs on the team.
