Man I'm so excited for tonight, complete 180 from March. FIFA killed my excitement with the tickets and BS, but man those past 2 friendlies have me pumped again.
I can't wait to see Weah come on as a sub and run opponent's into the ground. I think we can get some late goals now that we finally have some depth.

I am sure it has been beaten to death on this board, but the way they did the 48-team format is so bad.
If they wanted to expand so badly, they should have just kept it at 8 groups and added one country to each group. That gets you to 40 teams and the extra game is added to group stage instead of the Knockout round.

1,000,000% that by, at least 2034, it will be a 64 team tournament with 16 groups and the top 2 advance to a round of 32.
