That's a red card 100 times out of 10.

McKinnie must think he's playing for Honduras

Yeah, but he's also 25 and was bought by Chelsea 6 years ago.

You can take the game out of concacaf, but you can't take the concacaf out of the game.

This second half will now be chippy with little flow.

How so?

Looks and plays young. Can tell technical aspects are being developed, but not quite there with positioning and understanding the game. Doesn't look bad, but just in comparison to guys playing at top tier clubs; the quality difference shows.

There are pieces on this team that could lead the US to the quarters in 2022.

Genuinely impressed by all the kids going to Europe now to prove themselves

You have a specific example?

Running almost directly in front of Mckennie on that break up the left side. Have to either book it and make a move past the RB along the touchline or drift inside and make the RB choose. What happened is the RB stayed with both until he got help and then couldn't make the pass/intercepted.

What's really impressive is that barring injury or a total collapse in form, 8 starting spots are essentially spoken for on the USMNT

Steffen
Dest
Brooks
Adams
Reyna
McKennie
Pulisic
Musah

Brooks is the only field player over the age of 22 on that list.

Now, Musah might leave the team entirely, but I'm feeling pretty positive. So, if that holds, the USMNT needs to find a right or left back to pay with Dest, a center back, and a striker. And there's tremendous young talent in Llanez, Richards, Weah, and Aaronson who could push those starters.

Forget the future... The present looks bright.

Weston has had a sloppy half so far.

Yeah, he has been a little petulant this camp. Hopefully that doesn't piss off other players.
