This is a solid lineup that leaves a ton of firepower for the second half, which seems to be when we play better, after tiring down the opponent.

Swapping out 3/4 defenders in a game with Adams on the bench is dicey. Gutsy decisions by Berhalter but these 3 game windows really do make for some tough lineup decisions. Very surprised to see Yedlin not in this lineup given the changes.
This first half is going to be ugly but if we are level I like the chances of our offensive subs making the difference in the second half.

It’s definitely not a sexy lineup but there’s enough quality to get a result and Greg has shown he’ll make adjustments in the second half. It also sets up nicely for the Costs Rica by keeping a lot of our players fresh. Ultimately it’s more important to win home games

Very Gold Cup lineup. Not even playing for a draw, and saving everyone for Costa Rica. No M. Robinson worries me.
