Bruh, stop trying to argue the point. Wait until we play a competent opponent and let us play out of the back real loose, give up a goal and sit back and watch the peanut gallery wake up the frick up.

That was a very out of nowhere either Ireland type of goal.

I don’t totally know what Miazga was doing there, but that was a pretty unlikely goal. Think it’s been a much better second half overall.

I think for all the shite Gregg deserved in 2019, he deserves credit for how much he has changed in 2020-21.

Fair is fair.

Forcing you build up from the back when the team clearly isn’t made for it and not adjusting is another thing

He’s still forcing a square peg in a round hole and showing any lack to adapt his tactics

Imagine looking at a team with Reyna, Brooks, Dest, Pulisic, Richards, Aaronson, Musah, Adams, Steffen, and McKennie isn’t capable of a possession based style.

It lets you know who actually understands the game on that micro tactical level

That’s what I get for complimenting Robinson’s touch in the 2nd half

Do you understand where build up play from the back starts

Brooks might be the only defender who really excels at that Zak isn’t great with his feet GK wise

You are arguing for possession when we are talking build up play
You have to build up before sustained possession

You name dropped a crop of players much better at high tempo pressing our counter attacking

Robinson got a little Gyasi in him doesn’t he?

That was the problem with Antonee Robinson in a nutshell. It’s just not fluky that he had a bad touch there. If he could just get a little better on the ball.

Great touch/pass by Dike in the buildup though.

So because we're not overly concerned that an experimental backline that included Tim Ream and Matt Miazga with Kellyn Acosta as the 6 struggled playing out the back, we don't understand the game?
