Busio was relegated to a sub for his team by the end of the season.

...but he was still in Europe.

I'm not saying anything about the state of talent on this team, but to say this is just a bunch of MLS dudes isn't factually correct.

Busio is a drive killer for sure. Who the hell is Brian Reynolds and when can he come out. He is clearly lost out there

Either one of these teams would have a tough time against the MLS All-Stars. Even without Messi.

Reynolds is going to factor into our RB depth for the next two year.

That should be a red.

I mean that’s about as bad as Sands tackle from earlier if the studs were not showing

I have seen Roma play in Italy and he should be better than what I am seeing, on cue he passes to a wide open Canadian striker lol

Almost none of the first team is playing. At least not the guys at played in the Nations League outside of Turner who doesn’t play a lot in Europe.

Sands was a regular under head coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst, but he became a peripheral squad player after the former Dutch international was dismissed and Michael Beale took over. Before returning to NYCFC, he didn’t start any of the club’s last nine league games.

quote:

“I had a great time under van Bronckhorst, I played a lot,” Sands said. “The new coach came in, had more familiarity with other players, so it was tougher to get games. Still, they were very clear that they loved me as a player and would have been interested in keeping me, but the price was going to come between the two teams.”

Article also states he had interest from teams in Belgium. Seems he was a starter with GvB but lost his spot with the new coach who didn’t have him in his plans, so coming back early made sense. He was also played primarily at CB and is more of a defensive midfielder. Context.

Sands has my complete respect. That’s the mark of the good ole USA teams, being tough as shoe leather
