He sucks tonight

Like I've said earlier, he's been terrible for the USMNT since scoring in his debut. He seems like a slightly more technical Paul Arriola, where he just hustles a lot, but isn't particularly fast.

Wait... you don't think he has gotten European interest? This will be his last season in MLS.

If you're going to hate, at least know what you're hating. Between this and labeling him a poacher, you clearly are ill-informed.

I’ve seen him enough to form an informed opinion. I don’t see any future for him with the national team. Not sure why you feel a need to defend him.

Because he's a solid depth piece who is still improving. Not sure why you feel the need to shite on him when he scored a hat trick. Yeah, it was a shite opponent, still a solid match from him.

And you are just saying things that are factually inaccurate in order to support whatever misguided crusade against him you're forming here.

I would like to point out (in large part because I did not remember this) that Ferreira is 3 years younger than Zendejas.

2 years younger than Djordje too.

This idea that Ferreira is a finished product is hilarious to me.

Ferreira should never get another call up after this tournament.

The guy who got a hat trick today, and who looked like one of the more competent players against Jamaica? That guy? He’s only 22 and leading MLS in non penalty goals on what’s otherwise a pretty anemic team. He’s going to Europe at the end of this season. And regardless of your perception of him now writing him off is stupid. Progression isn’t linear. Look at Ream.

I don’t love Ferreira as of now, but I think we tend to be harsher on him because he looks older than he actually is.

In terms of ceiling, he’s well behind Pepi and Balogun, but I’d probably have him 3rd or 4th on our striker depth chart and probably 2nd in our #10 depth chart (well behind Gio). Ferreira’s biggest thing to improve is his finishing: although he had three really good finishes tonight. His passing and off ball runs are already some of the best in our pool, which is why the “he’s a poacher in MLS” comment blew my mind.

If we play with a 10 right now he is backup to Reyna. He’s shown more there than Aaronson imo (who I love but has been in shite form since the WC).

Idk who said that but they obviously don’t actually watch him for FCD (I do).

It was Rockchalk. He may be trolling though, because the shite he is saying doesn’t make sense.

Hell you don’t even have to watch him in Dallas to know he’s not a poacher. All three of his goals today were the exact opposite of poacher goals. Now, Vazquez is definitely a poacher and I see his value as more of a sub off the bench when we need a goal, I actually think he could be better than a healthy Dike in that regard.
