I’ve always liked Ream and I think he’s a great locker room guy, but there’s very few situations where he should play meaningful minutes these days

I give a B for the first half, B+ or A had we finished a couple of those chances.
We're somewhere in D to F territory for the second half. It's been bad and we should be getting blown out. Horvath himself has been a solid A just keeping us in it.

I’d rather see us play Pulisic-Sargent-Reyna up too with Aaronsen at the 10 than take one of them off for Yueill or Acosta.
If our midfield is going to be without Adam’s, May as well try to net as many as possible.

We looked pretty disjointed going forward but still had some nice moments, just no one to put a foot on the ball in the box. Defensively we were all over the place. Way too many bad giveaways from Brooks, Reyna, etc. Statistically we still did ok, but I liked Switzerland’s chances better.
No one on this team could beat their man 1 v 1, creating overloads. Dest and Aaronson would have been my bets to do this, but they were both off.
Overall, not great, not terrible. Hopefully we look more fluid against Honduras.

My thoughts:
Gio had an off day
Sargent fought hard but still has improving to do
Ream isn’t starting material
Horvath really stepped up when called on, impressive performance
Midfield missed Adams playing destroyer
All in all, not a bad performance at all. Stretches of controlling the game on foreign soil against the Swiss A team and conceded some really crappy/unlucky goals.
Our final product has to improve and with Pulisic it will instantly
