I'd prefer us to have a 5th midfielder instead of 2 forwards

We're going to get burned if we keep giving away possession in the middle of the pitch.

I'd prefer us to be able to find one of the 2 forwards and hold up play rather than getting our arse kicked so badly that we are in kick the shite out of it mode.

Which may be solved with a 5th midfielder

Yeah, I think instead of trying to counter the extra defender, we should overload their midfield and dominate the space between midfield and defense.

Sounds like a lot of native Central Americans at the game cheering for Honduras/against USA. frick 'em.

If we're going to play two wide men and two forwards, then Bradley is playing too far forward at times.

Leaves a slow Beckerman too exposed. Beckerman's good at what he does, but he can't be left on his own against counters.

Yeah I'm with you. I think this is the kind of game where Mix would be pretty good.

Also Brooks (another guy I like) has been kind of sketchy so far.

And beckerman actually dove in a few minutes ago on a second ball and gave up a quick counter. Nothing happened but it was not encouraging.

Jurgy's shirt is too small.

That's about the best thing I can say while watching this right now.

This shitty ref would just call it a throw in even if one of the Hondurans pulled out a gun and shot Bradley.

If we're sticking with this lineup (and I assume we will for a while obviously) then I would go with a flatter four (especially the two center mids) and Dempsey dropping into more of an attacking mid position.

Could be an overreaction, but right now we're being tactically beaten.
