Concacaf World Cup qualifying sucks

That whole viewing experience was awful. I get the us played that way by design, but I had some peeps over to watch the game and even I was bored.

Happy with the result, still don’t like greggggggg. frick Panama

Yeah, if we beat Panama on Sunday.and Costa Rica wins, we need to play a Jose Special and park that fricking bus.

The biggest downside of tonight was Canada losing.

Would have better dropping the point than CR winning

It's not that big of a deal. Even if we were up 5 points right now we'd still be in trouble going to Costa Rica if we lost or drew to Panama at home. We'd probably be up less than 3 points going to Costa Rica even if they drew today with a home loss or draw to Panama.

Take care of business on Sunday and it's over.

Win Sunday and it is 99.99% (Costa Rica would have to beat us by 8+). Draw guarantees a playoff at worst.

Are you under some delusion Costa Rica could beat us 5, 6, or 7-0?

4+… we’d go to +5 and they’d go to +6 if they beat us 4-0

Still unlikely, but being +7 on goal difference would go away with a 4-0 loss.

The US is going to be looking to put up some goals on Sunday. Costa Rica will be as well. But the US is at home unlike Costa Rica. They need to come out firing.

If we beat Panama we can pop the champagne. No way Costa Rica’s old arse is capable of scoring enough to put us under.

And Hugo has got El Salvador playing inspired football right now, especially at home.

Costa Rica hasn't scored any goals all tournament. They're averaging .75 per match. It's over with a win on Sunday.

Costa Rica would have a lot of GD to make up against us in final game for them to pass us. Currently +9 to +2

That sounds like a lot, but 4-0 would do it
