09 confed is the last time I was legit stoked on the US. Chuck gets in a car wreck. Gooch blows his knee out before going to AC Milan. And that’s it. Entire cycle wasted.

Why was Tillman selling the arm on the handball. Do they teach honesty at PSV? Lol

Zardes and Dozy in the same league, not agemang...Dempsey played as 9, he did play as an off striker but he certainly played extensively as a 9, particularly in the 2014 world cup. And look a video about Dempsey as a striker...

Tolkin started off rough but has been very good most of the game, especially getting back defensively.

And as soon as I typed that he messed up lol

Question for you Klinsmann haters
If you could choose one going into ‘26. Klinsmann or Ponch?

Atleast Klinsmann brought in some German American talent. Jermaine jones? Thoughts?

Poch, historically has had a rough first year most of his career as a head coach. So it really remains to be seen if he'll repeat his 2nd year success on the international level next year or if it'll prove too much. Save Agyemang, most of the call ups here have improved over the last 3 or 4 games.

From a US soccer standpoint, beating Haiti 2-1 is really not a big thing, but if it means Poch instilling a winning culture, togetherness through trial, and team identity, then that was a very good win.

It was good to see players actually caring through toughness.

I agree. I think this group stage was about as good as we could have hoped for. A blowout win, a rough 1-0 game against a team that is average, and a win against a CONCACAF minnow that we rotated on that wasn’t as close the score indicated.

Think Tillman and Luna have looked good. Richards has been solid. Ream still himself. Few other players like Berhalter, Freeman, and McGlynn had some moments. Can cross off Freese, Agyemang, and Arfsten. No one else really did anything to help or hurt their stock IMO.
