You’re right, I think our problems would be fixed if Adams played wing and Pulisic lined up at D mid.

We got out of a group with Ghana, Germany, and Portugal in 2014 IIRC. He wasn’t all bad.

I hate to break it it to you guys. We just aren’t good. I’ve played and watched soccer my entire life.

We are now relying on how many we can not let in against a real team, England, and how many we can score against Iran.

He even got a hand to the pk. Turner us not the problem at all. Most teams in this tourney actually have worse goalkeepers.

I was saying he should be number 1 when he was on the Revs

You can be a fan of someone and still be critical of them

You are the Gregg poster boy on this board

You should probably sit in a corner

And then tanked the program right afterwards by fracturing it to the point where dudes didn't give a shite about playing for the crest.

Jurgen was worse than Gregg as a national team coach... and that's saying something. Gregg sucks as a matchday manager, but he has dudes loving playing for the national team again and that was no small feat he accomplished considering where the program was when he took over.

We have the most talented team we’ve ever had, the issue is we have a coach who has no idea what he’s doing. I’d say Greg has lost the plot, but he’s never had it.

But who do you take out? Weah? Yeah no thanks.

Sure, but the criticism has to be warranted.

When you're the only one of the message boards fans on here saying he was bad, on top of Fox and your beloved IPTV saying he was great, chances are you're the wrong one.

Says who? Fox sports?

Our best team was 2002 and 1930.

A lot of those players from 2002 played in Europe too, or do we forget?

If you don’t think this team has a ton of talent, albeit young, you have no idea what you’re talking about.

Compared too who though? Qatar?

Although I dislike bale, no player on the us team is as good as he was. And it showed we aren’t more talented then little bitty wales or we would have seen that game out.

When we lose to England and tie Iran y’all will see the light.

I think our technical qualities have improved, but we didn't develop our coaching system to the same level as we did the rest of our youth system. Berhalter is likely the wrong guy, and isn't a very good coach. But I see far more technical ability on the field.

I think that being coach of the US team is one of the harder jobs in world football, as you have to be adept at two different styles of soccer. The first is something more possession-based, as most teams we will face in CONCACAF will play ten behind the ball and try to kick the shite out of us. The second is the counter-attacking low-block, which is popular at tournaments, where we could potentially face teams that have technical ability greater than our own but can't match the physicality.

It's very difficult to find a system which allows you to move between each. Bob Bradley's empty bucket 4-2-2-2 might have been the best solution anyone could have come up with, but Berhalter doesn't strike me as someone who can instill either style well.
