I'm not even operating on what Gregg thinks, we're going to have one more nation's league camp with this system and then the staff is gone.

It's all about who we hire next.

I don’t even think Gregg’s general premise is necessarily wrong for this player pool. everything has to center around the middle of the park and work from there. but you’re right. these games are just cap counters that tell us nothing.

not to extrapolate from something that isn’t there, but my god it’s going to be fun to see how weston and tyler play together day in day out, rather than a few times a year

Just hope Leeds doesn't get relegated.

My only big takeaway from this camp is that Jalen Neal has a chance to become really fricking good.

His ball distribution from that left side is already strong and if he develops his body like he should, he and Richards can become a force this cycle or next.

I don’t get the point of what they did in that camp. It was basically a D squad, so why play Zimmerman and Long and Arriola or any other player we’ve played before? Most of that U20-23 squad is better. I know they couldn’t bring in a lot of those guys, so just let the fringe kids play.

That seems like an oversimplification of things. They have more upside than the vets, but Paxten is considered one of the best players in that generation's pool and he looked way out of his depth today.

Also, did you not watch the Serbia match. All of those guys started. They aren't going start a bunch of dudes out of season in 2 matches in such a short window.

Also, there's a chance Ferreira is on the U-23 squad for the Olympics. So just be ready for that.

Not really. Seems like it’s valuable experience either way, regardless of getting pushed around. We’ve already seen the vets, and we don’t need them to gain more time together.

Had to miss it, but why not? Then get more unknowns in there than Gressel, Long, etc., who provide no upside. Waste of time.

Hope not
