They've been solid but not spectacular. This Japan team is supposed to be pretty decent though.

Japan as a nation has gone all in for soccer. They have put a tremendous amount of effort and money into development. They aren't Brazil but a win against them isn't bad at all.

Not bad. 3 wins and only gave up 1 goal.
