I can’t remember anything like this happening before but some of y’all have better memories than me (and some might be more ol… I mean experienced).

I’m in Houston and ran into some Curaçao fans at my hotel. All I have to say is food must be good on the island.

I remember Spain whacking Lopetegui right before 2018 because he spoke to Real Madrid.

they did get their asses handed to them, on the big stage, by a team that's not all that great....
if they can salvage the next 2 games, somehow, or at least even be at least competitive, then it's a good decision... bottom line, is they can't do much worse than they did the other night

You know, if there were still such a thing as qualification standards, they could have suffered this embarrassment in relative privacy.
But FIFA has argued that nearly half the world’s countries should get to participate.
You can’t have it both ways. And since one way pays more money than the other… we get this headline.

Rumors Herve Renard taking over. Seems odd as frick to make an outside hire for what is only a guaranteed two more matches. That's some Mexico shite.
In terms of previous World Cups, the only one I can think of that is remotely close to this is the 2010 French team staging a mutiny on Domenech before their final group stage match, but he still coached in it, only to be fired afterwards.

Some Tunisia fan said this isn't surprising. The coach had apparently tried some insane tactical things during their game with Sweden like playing 2 10s in the double Pivot, a LW at RB or some shiz and a bunch of other crazy stuff. Seems like gross incompetence. Let me find the tweet

Always park the bus against the superior team.
