I much rather the team play well for the majority of the match and lose a heartbreaker instead of getting blown out. This just really exposed our lack of depth so that means we should expect some more signings in the next day or two, right!?!?

Was it really a drop-off in quality? Trust me, I think we need more quality players, but I don’t think Tel, Solanke, Gray, and Bergvall were the reason we lost.
We sat in and invited pressure way before they were subbed on. PSG were always going to force the issue down 2 in the 80th minute. I’m not sure what more we could have done to prevent the first goal. The second can probably be attributed to tired legs that allowed Dembele to beat Spence and Ramos to get goal side. Those two moments of quality were ultimately enough to cancel out an excellent performance for 80+ minutes.
Ultimately, it sucks to lose a final we were so close to winning, but I was encouraged by the performance.

I was encouraged as well, i really think Sarr should have stayed on instead of Bentancur, he was so tired, he could barely run.
All in all, outside of the Bayern match, I’ve been pleased with our work. I think with a few more signings, we could make some noise this year, but we need quality players to help out.

Nope. Don’t see either eze or savinho happening. Outside chance of savinho because I imagine his wages would be much less. No chance levy steps up and pays eze wages.
