AVB sucks. I have never been a big fan of his. I would have no problem firing him. It can't get any worse.

Never understood why y'all sold Caulker...

And on paper, a dembele, sandro, paulinho midfield should be just about the tops in the EPL...

I don't think AVB puts our players into a position to win. The Premier League has turned into an aggressive league. We never play aggressive balls forward.

We have defensive problems (especially with injuries), but this team is not bad enough to lose 5-0 at home to ANYONE. Absolutely awful.

There are reports that AVB has been canned. Glenn Hoddle coming into replace him. I don't have an opinion yet.

Won't be satisfied if AVB is on his way out. Believe he should be given the season.

It's not like he has ever had success in England. We were just as abysmal without Bale last year.

It's only luck that has us on the top half of the table. -6 goal differential is more telling than our record.

I didn't get to see the game today but when I saw Chadli and Lennon in the lineup I had a feeling we'd be inept on offense. Did we really have 0 shots on goal?

I stopped watching after it became 2-0 because I'm in the midst of finals week, but from what I watched we had decently good offensive flow up until we got near the box. Any time we got near, or in, the box it just seemed like we panicked and lost the ball. We have to have better composure and a better attacking plan once we are in the final third.

I believe so.

Soldado had the closest chance but launched a shot into the stands from inside the box. Dude looks lost. He complains about service but when he does get chances (even though they aren't the best) he ends up lacking.

Our defense was a mess from the start. Having no left back and almost all of CBs hurt killed us. Starting Naughton was a big mistake. Once Fryers came on things calmed down in the back a little bit and we actually had a little bit better possession. Then Paulinho kicked Suarez in the chest and Liverpool went for Man City levels of anal penetration.

AVB needs to just start Lamela on the right and Townsend on the left. It's not like starting these other guys is getting us great results. They might be works in progress, but I would rather watch our young talent lose games because of inexperience than have them riding pine and losing games.

This is pretty much what I was coming back to say.

This is why Levy should let Villas Boas go.

He got some late minutes in our Europa game on Thursday, but he had been hurt before that. He's still not match fit though

GeauxColonels and I have often discussed how we wish Siggy saw the pitch more.

Either Holtby or Erikson always need to be on the field. They are the only creative central midfielders we have.

We desperately need a creative CM playing with Soldado. We have GOT to get him some service in the box. Siggy has done nothing but good things when he sees the pitch. I'm still baffled as to why he gets so few BPL minutes.

I understand we're reeling on the back line. But frick, that's no excuse to basically just give up down 2-0 and a man. I absolutely abhor Dawson. And Walker's attitude makes me sick. I had a bad feeling that the massive amounts of mids we bought this offseason without paying much attention to the striker position or back line would come back to bite us in the arse.

shite, at this point I'm ready to see Soldado and Adebayor lined up together up top. You can't really do any worse than we are now.
