Debatable regarding Lennon. Sure he's fast and he has some runs....but he can't pass for shite.

I agree with GeauxColonels about Lennon. His speed isn't a factor, considering he always crosses it into another defender or shoots right at the keeper. The goal of soccer is to score more goals than the other team. I don't think Lennon's speed helps Tottenham Hotspur score more goals than the other team.

He can't shoot for shite. His crosses last year were terrible that's one reason I was happy to not see him in the starting lineup, but he's done better this year creating opportunities for other players. Plus him and Walker are always on the same page.

Having said that, I'm a big fan of Lamela and think he should be the starter eventually. It just hasn't clicked for him yet and Lennon gives us the best shot at winning right now.

I definitely would like to see more of Lamela.

On a different note, I feel less shitty about the arse-kicking Man City handed to us a few weeks ag given today's result.

I was just saying that in the other thread. City at home is not fair. I'm glad we've got that out of the way. Hopefully, they are still struggling away from the Eithad when we get them at WHL.

Hard to argue with the lineups based on injuries and players' fitness. Eyes will be on Chadli and Naughton today as they are probably the two biggest question marks out there for us.

Holtby needed to start. We have had no presence in midfield.

I know we had no choice because of injuries, but Naughton is just awful.

I wish we had gone with Rose. We should have played him less on Thursday.

Dembele and Lennon have been completely invisible. Lamela or Townsend need to replace Lennon at the half.

Agree. Everyone has been bad it shouldn't take one or two passes from midfield to rip open a defense like this. Complete a few passes in a row this is embarrassing. 0 shots on goal that's awesome

Injuries at the back and AVB's midfield selections are killing us. We have too much talent to perform how we do. For the love of all that is holy, GET A DAMN LEFT BACK IN THE NEXT TRANSFER PERIOD! I really wouldn't mind a new manager either. AVB just isn't getting it done right now.

Whoooaaaaa, let's pump the brakes here. They really haven't had much trouble scoring in Europa.
