Torres and Xabi Alonso for me
Those two along with Gerrard were big reasons why I follow Liverpool
Torres was slightly easier because he had all his injuries and we were definitely on a downslope so I got it. But Xabi was rough because while he was definitely bought by a bigger club, there still seemed like an aspect that he was shown the door just because we could make money off of it.
Nonetheless, that was two of our biggest names that we’ve had that we just let walk out (albeit for decent fees, especially Torres) despite them being big for the foundation of the club but also were big fan favorites

Xabi was a big loss for y'all. He was a leader there and in Madrid.

That was amazingly well written in my drunk state. I feel so proud

el mejor club del mundo
I get it. He only left for the prettiest girl in the world. I’ve always been a bandwagon RM fan though. Still this feels waaaaaaaaaaay different than when courtois went.

Mmmmh, this guy is a douchebag. He's also not in top form (will he ever be, or has he played his best already)?
Poor Keylor. At least the Bernabeu respected and loved him.

That picture of him pouting on the bench made me smile

Tuncay Sanli leaving made the most annoyed because a) he was free, b) he was near his peak as a player, c) he had it made as a club legend in his mid-20s, and d) he couldn’t find a better offer than Middlesbrough.

Fabio Borini going back to Liverpool. Then he just floated there for awhile and we overpaid like a motherfricker to get him back but the magic was gone.

Sir Alex. I knew nothing would be the same...and it's not.

Does this mean I can openly root for hazard without every soccer fan hating me? How is the general perception of Madrid?

Still pretty enough for your star player to tell you he loves you but he’s not IN love with you anymore.
