Valencia and Juve advance out of that group.

Just because we aren't a favorite to win it doesn't mean I'm not going to get excited about it. I am pretty confident we make it out of the group at least. Juve will be tough obviously, but Valencia can be had. I expect United to climb out of their current rut and put up some good performances.
Crazier things have happened.

quote:most definitely. I think the reason Madrid probably changed him more than any other clubs is the pressure that comes with that job.
But he clearly has had some issues with his players/team the last few years. I'm starting to believe his time in Madrid changed him, and not necessarily in a good way.
I mean sure, Inter is a big club but nowhere near the type of job Real is. He basically made Chelsea, and Porto is a big Portuguese team not a big worldwide team.

he's just been unlucky with some of the personalities he's coaching?
I think this could be a factor in it, I mean he has managed/is managing some huge personalities. I’d like to say that this is just a downturn in form and there’s nothing to worry about, but this is a trend, so we more than likely know where it ends.
* I’d also like to note that if Pep wasn’t lighting the world on fire at City, he would be arguably the most secure man in the world right now as far as job security goes.

MUCH better today. Although we were actually fine in the first half against Tottenham. International break then we go again.
Luke Shaw looks like a new man this season. 360 consecutive, productive minutes. Alexis was better as well.

The Spanish Tax Fraud bug bites Jose too. No wonder everyone tries to get out of Spain...

I read the full quote. He's not dismissing any speculation.

actual quote allegedly said "who knows what comes after"
meaning after the years left on his contract.

This is the full quote per BBC:
quote:
"I still have a contract, I am playing there at the moment, but who knows what will happen in the next few months."

I'm aware of what was reported, but there is a question about what was actually said. Something about a translation error with the german reporter.
Not sure which is which, just saying what the rumors are. At this point I'm just about done with pogba anyway. I almost hope he leaves next summer for 150+ mill and United gets someone that wants to be here.
Jose and United are bigger than Pogs

His assumptions are baseless and completely unscrupulous.

Jealous of what exactly? The trophies y'all won before I was born?
I just don't see why you can't admit Pogba is clearly not fully satisfied with things right now. I'm not saying they won't get sorted or that he'll leave. But he could easily say he's happy where he is. Instead he keeps saying "who knows" or that he can't say what he really thinks, etc.
