It’s pretty concerning where our quality in defense has gone. I guess we were spoiled last year but this would have been an easy clean sheet. We looked timid and scared all game up and down the lines.
Unless something drastically changes with Gomez, he and Lovren are not up to par.
Lovren got the goal at least, Gomez has been extremely poor in every appearance since coming back. Really sucks but if you can’t cut it, we’ve got to be proactive about moving on.
It’s starting to bite us.
Also could really use something new up front. Still seem short on ideas and cohesiveness. The counter has really gone away this year but maybe that’s because everyone is sitting back and not committing players.
I don’t know buts it’s crazy where we sit in the tables for how poorly we’ve played down the stretch IMO.

All goals against city came from the counter. It’s just that it’s rare for teams to play is in an open match

Ive never liked Joe as a fb... he played well as a cb last year and im content with him there... currently, as a back up to Joel..
the depth at fb has been a concern for two years running, IMO... though, I didnt mind the hendo/ox experiment for a bit yesterday... obviously, nothing more than situational...
we def need a creative mf'er, another versatile forward and depth at the #6... I hope the links to Berge are true... he'd be a good buy...
Go after the Norwegian 3... Berge, Odegaard and Haaland!
