I decided today, the three most "memorable" sports moments for teams I follow (not necessarily in order):

Warren Morris walk-off HR in the CWS Final

Tracy Porter pick-six in the Super Bowl

"Corner taken quickly"

Im glad to see Hendo getting props for BBC Player of the Season..

Is he the EPLs best player.. no.. Is he our best player.. no..

But he's played very well and captained us to the international treble and a 25 point lead in the league, before all this went sideways...

Yeah agreed on all counts... Hendo has absolutely earned my respect... In fact, when I bought my new CL kit this summer to get the 6 patch on it, I put Henderson's name on it.

Seems to me there is still uncertainty and visible lack of support for this plan by many teams and players alike (according to the linked article).

I hope it’s true and that it comes to pass, but consider me from Missouri until the first kick-off actually occurs.

I get that but the fact that June 1 was initiated has me thinking it is actually going to happen. My only concern is the termination of the season which now appears far less likely.

It seems this option is basically off the table, the season will either be completed or they will end the season as it stands and determine the table on the PPG method.

Either way, LFC are back on top of England

Hell naw!

Missouri is the "Show Me" state, i.e. consider me from Missouri when it comes to re-starting these sports leagues (not just the PL).

The third kit I've bought this year arrived today...

The deep NB discount was too much

Now have:
Home CL with the 6 patch and the 2019 winners patch (Hendo)

Home GK Alisson

Home PL with CWC patch (Bobby)

I am starting to get the feeling that our window business is going to be Werner and Koulibaly along with the regular one or two inexpensive youngsters that we rate. Klopp spent NOTHING last year and Edwards is going to make a tidy bit from the outgoing players. I'm bored and have been searching everywhere for any news and these two seem to be the players we value most. What do you boys think? Transfers are so unpredictable normally but now with this who the hell knows. I will say that the clubs with the best people up top will benefit and will probably be able to use this craziness to their advantage.

If we sign those two, I'm all on board... But I'm iffy on if Kolibaly would be willing to come here, can't imagine him being a full time starter or even most of the time starter over Gomez at this point

Obviously we need to replace at least Lovren, but not sure how he'd fit in as that replacement

I like Werner, especially if Mane leaves this summer, but even if not, maybe they got him to buy in on joining the club to help rotate the front

I don’t know how Koulibaly would adjust to EPL, but the dude is a wall from what I’ve watched of him. Momentary lapses in judgement, but really hard to beat. He’d want a lot of money to leave Serie A though.

We are also losing some money from ticket sales, early champions league exit, and money getting allocated into the Kirkby project

I highly highly doubt Koulibaly comes here

I love Joe and he’s got a bright future. That’s part of why I think Klopp wouldn’t bring him in to take time away from Gomez’s development.

That said, Koulibaly is better than Joe now and would 100% start over him

If we sign Koulibaly (which I highly doubt), it would be to start, given what it would cost...

If, by chance, it did happen.. I wonder which one of he or VVD would move to RCB... since they are both right footed, doubt it would be much of a big deal..

I'm beginning to wonder if we'll do any big transfers, but if we had to pick one.. I'd be all in for Werner...

I think we can let Jones/Grujic/Minamino help with the loss of Lallana... and Williams (or Gomez) look like they can sub TAA..

I would still like to see someone brought in to spell Robbo.. but I guess Milner can do the job occasionally..

If we frick off Lovren, we'll need a 4th CB, but I assume it will be a 4th choice youngster or older stop gap, other than KK..

We're prob one of the few clubs that are in good shape, as is.. if there are limited signings this summer across the league..

Also Koulibaly is almost 30. Way too much money to dump into an old player considering how good our young CB’s have played. Would rather spend elsewhere.

Agree with finding someone that can fill in at LB or RB. We are so thin at those positions. I don’t like always relying on Milly to play RB when Robbo can’t go.
