Just dropping in to say as a extremely casual viewer, German and euro league teams passing is light years ahead of the US men’s national team.

Like a few minutes back the yellow team kicked a ball like Drew Brees throwing a dime across the field...

Well, yeah. We just don't have a good team right now. Also helps that these teams practice with each other every day. National teams only get a few days unless it's a tournament.

They had sod shipped in from NJ. It was laid on Monday, on top of synthetic turf, for the match last night.

There were some very good parts too. Of the two teams, Liverpool was the one that looked dangerous going forward most often. Defensive mistakes were clunkers though.

Highlight of the match to me were Ox and young RB Adam Lewis (who Klopp was playing as an AMF). And the first Liverpool goal with a pass from Fabinho, a beautiful and deadly dummy by Ryan Kent, and a perfect shot by Harry Wilson was a beauty.

I would love a solid outing from Ox as well.

Heat and humidity at match time, and during, was insane. Worst I've ever dealt with and I've been working outside, for my job, the past 27 years.

I really think Klopp is looking at Ox and Brewster as our “signings” this Summer. And I really think Keita can kind of fall into that list. I think he is going to have a huge year for us.

Sevilla’s manager should be ashamed of himself and the fricking Sevilla players are a joke.

Well I hope its the fact that Klopp is experimenting with CBs and FBs here in the preseason, but our defense has been utter shite.

Just saw the Gnangnon tackle that led to the red, huge tPOS move and should cause reprimand but it won’t

Spain isn't going to sabotage their greatest Europa League hope.

Reports said Van Dijk, Milner and Robertson confronted him in the tunnel, and that it was a pretty heated exchange.

That was maybe the worst tackle I've ever seen in a preseason friendly.

He did publicly apologize but it was ridiculously reckless.

Agreed. (However I think people forget that some players are fighting for a spot on the team and have to take these games somewhat seriously. It can lead to heated moments. Still doesn't excuse that challenge though)

However, I'm still lol'ing at the people on Reddit legitmately calling for the guy to be banned for life.

Can’t find the video again. Virgil walked over to the bench but never crosses the advertisement signs. Definitely has words but Sevilla personnel are around. The player only gets up from the bench once Virgil walks away and more people are between them. It was really short.
