Yeah, that'd be the complaint, but review systems are always tied to the camera system in place (well typically)... Not sure if it was just Turner with the shite replays or UEFA

I think the question above and I are asking is how do they have VAR in place without every angle?
It's impossible to have every angle unless you have 200+ cameras that each have a range of mobility. There will always be some angle that you can't get. You work with what you can get. It will always be better than not having it.

Yeah, it's a nice feeling... Also, think it kinda vindicates Hendo a bit after being largely shite on for a while... Like obviously not a world class player, but he's a good player and think he's earned his spot as captain

I'm not arguing with you, cause what ever they have set up with VAR, camera wise, are the rules...

But they are setting themselves up for huge criticism if a broadcast can show an angle they dont have access to.. I mean, tap into these cameras... its not like we're asking them to access every iPhone in the stadium... these are pretty standard set ups...

They didn't show anything on the Turner broadcast that convinced me 100% it wasn't a PK... Like as a fan I'd say it was soft, but couldn't 100% it was the wrong call.

Remember, the bar here is pretty freaking high "clear and obvious error"... Maybe the BT broadcast had another angle, but from what I saw there was nothing to overturn it imo.

Would love a FA and EPL Cup to add to the case this year.

Ridiculous thinking about Real winning 4 damn UCLs with Ramos and Ronaldo. 5 total for Cristiano.

is it me reading into nothing or does Mo look like his heart is elsewhere during celebrations. he seems unhappy and combined with the rumors from last year i'm worried.

Venting: all I looked forward to doing this morning was watching the replay of the game. I’ve avoided spoilers since yesterday. But stupid arse B/R Live still doesn’t have the replay available on the app. Wtf. How is the replay not available within at least a couple hours of the game ending. frick B/R live...how the hell did they manage to get the contract for UEFA.

ETA: got it through 7 day free trial of FuboT/V...just need to remember to cancel before they pop me for $70 bucks lol

Maybe he's pissed that they had to fly an extra 3,000 miles in the middle of the week to play a team located 150 miles away.

Seems fine to me. Yes the supercup is a trophy to add to the case, but I’m sure the PL and CL is what he’s after.

Game was good. Was a little concerned in the first half, but Firmino coming on really seemed to light a fire under everyone. Love Ox but he was nonexistant the entire first half, I’m sure that’s mostly to do with playing out of position. Also felt like Chelsea did a good job at making sure Robertson couldn’t get up field as much as he’d like, seemed like a game where TAA could’ve taken advantage on the opposite side.

I get we have won our first 2 matches but that have felt off. Our defense is suspect from last year which I didn’t expect and Ox, Keita and Shaq HAVE to be major contributors this year. I understand patience with those three for different reasons but City isn’t going to give us an inch.

Defense has definitely looked a bit off. VVD always lights out, but there were a couple times he was looking for a borderline offsides and almost got caught a step behind. I’ve also noticed every game where the defense has looked shaky, it’s bc the midfield was non existent. Need consistent midfield play.

Now Adrian saying he's very optimistic he'll play tomorrow... certainly would prefer him over Lonergan or Kelleher

This is going to sound crazy but I would like to see Lallana in the midfield this weekend.
