I was literally thinking that earlier. Honestly, give me a front 3 of Sturridge, Mane, and Shaqiri for next game with Fabinho, Keita, Milner in behind.
Some of that for rotation with all the matches incoming, but something also to hopefully just kick some players in the arse and help get us in gear

Isn't leaving the technical area a written rule? Because he obviously did that... I'm not that worried about it either way

Yeah, definitely thats a rule. My only questions are (1) is leaving the technical atea any different between leaving it for the sideline or the pitch and (2) potential punishments (fine? suspension?).

I wouldn’t mind seeing Firmino in an advanced mid position, swapping with Studge every once in a while with the flow of the game. Firmino works his arse off and is in the midfield half the time anyway, and Sturridge has fallen back as well at times to help.
Also, Sturridge has a level of vision and precision that we are missing in attack as of late.

Man, it sure is nice seeing a record of 11-3-0 next to you our name

Just how I thought we’d get that winner as it was getting late. A perfectly placed chip from VVD on the top cross bar confusing everyone except Divork Origi for the easy header. I heard that they had been working on that at Melwood and it finally pays off.

Something has got to get the boys in gear. We’ve been extremely fortunate thus far but despite mediocre play still in contention. This team has the talent to be special. Just have to find a way to tap into the potential.

Yeah we've been struggling pretty hard this season, I mean it's crazy we're bitching about an unbeaten team, but man this luck has to run out eventually

It’s weird for us. It’s the defense that we have been waiting for years. We are sorely missing a creative force behind our front three to unlock this whole thing.
Posted on 12/2/18 at 2:53 pm to JackVincennes
Honestly our creativity was ok today. Not great but we had a few clear cut chances. Our finishing was just shite
Not to say we don’t miss someone in midfield to be a bit more creative though

That's better than the 8-4-2 record that Liverpool had in their first 14 matches last year while they were playing "sparkling" high-octane football, right?
Posted on 12/2/18 at 3:11 pm to beatbammer
Yeah, it's pretty amazing how far our defense has come in basically a year... I mean we've conceded only 5 goals right in 14 games which I would have never dreamed of at any point in the last say 8 years or so
Posted on 12/2/18 at 3:20 pm to Tigerfan7218
Personally, yeah, I would love to be seeing our guys slotting in all their chances and scoring as much as Man City.
That would be a LOT of fun, for sure.
But I'm OK with winning for now. Especially if we could stop fugging up in the CL.

Any chance the reason Klopp went bat-shite crazy after Origi's goal today was because of the "Murderers" chant reigning down from the blue-shite crowd at Anfield?
Posted on 12/2/18 at 8:48 pm to beatbammer
What’s the reason for that chant?

So we should expect fines for the Toffees from the FA?
Posted on 12/3/18 at 6:21 am to DByrd2
They were also throwing coins and lighters on the pitch... and they say Jurgen is the disrespectful one...
Should he have done it, no... but I'm not upset he did.. It was nothing more than an in the moment display of emotion... If he gets a fine or ban, than so be it..

LFC have 20 clean sheets in their last 28 home matches... unbeaten.. just an amazing stat..
with the ages of this backline... no reason to think we won't have this core for the next 4-5 years, with them only getting better..
Alisson (26)
TAA (20)
Gomez (21)
Van Dijk (27)
Robertson (24)
