That group tho...
And our match last night. I know it wasn't perfect (looking at you defense) but considering how negative we've been the last month, that was a breath of fresh air.
Again, no doubt we could use a little more depth and extra weapons if we're being picky, but this is still a damn good team.
I just couldn't help but think back to the Hodgson years. Yes we want to be back at the top and we want to put out an impeccable performance week in and week out, but I just can't think of how much better off when that's the product we put on the field while we still nitpick about our problems.
Hopefully we keep building on all this momentum the right way and performances like that make me damn proud to be a Liverpool fan appreciating our history, our fall from grace, and enjoying the ride we're on now.
PS I've been drinking

It looks like Renato is going to happen. Everywhere I look it appears to be on. I love the move, I think Klopp is perfect for this kid and he is s hell of an untapped resource with talent galore. The only problem I see is that he doesn't play LCB. Does ANYONE think that our baffling ignorance to realize how desperate our LCB situation is because the obvious answer is playing for our under 23's and we have priced him out of a transfer? My cousin swears this is what is happening but I just don't see it which makes the situation for me even worse. And can someone explain to me why we don't just bid a number Soton couldn't turn down? We haven't spent shite the last 5 windows. Please tell me it's not because of that patgetic apology, because if that is the case then we are the most naive big club in the world by a long shot.

Would really like Ox-Cham on a permanent rather than Renato on loan.

Why not both? We could really use the depth
Posted on 8/25/17 at 5:25 pm to Tigerfan7218
True, although I think Renato on loan has the possibility to actually happen since Ancelotti has given him the green light. I would like to have one of those loans with the option to buy before I pull the trigger. We get him for a year and then hopefully sign Keita. At that point it would depend on Klopp whether he would have space for both. I don't like loans to us unless we have the ability to choose to keep the player at the end of the year. And I swear I am not going to talk about a LCB.

At this point, I don't give a frick what it costs. Get some damn players.

Guru, I could not have said it better myself. And if we don't AT LEAST PUT ON A BID DOWN on a CB (sorry, cant help myself) at all then we deserve everything we get this year. Which will be close but no trophies and fighting for Top 4.

What's so great about him? He's not a great attacker and he's not an elite defender. Maybe everyone is seeing something I'm not?

frick. 92 mil for benzema?! We need a striker, but no thanks.

20:30pm: Real Madrid are willing to sell Karim Benzema to Liverpool, Spanish outlet Diario Gol claim. The France international had a hit-and-miss season under Zinedine Zidane last time out. Benzema, 29, netted just 11 La Liga goals as Zidane’s men lifted the title ahead of Barcelona. And according to Diario Gol, Liverpool, Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund have all made offers for Benzema. However, Real president Florentino Perez is only interested in selling the striker to Liverpool. Diario Gol add that Real reckon they can get the Reds to pay £92m for Benzema this summer.

I'm not paying 92m for any 29 year old.

If we don't sign a CB, then let's hope Klopp sees the deficiency and allows Sakho to come riding back in on a white stallion to save the day
Posted on 8/25/17 at 9:05 pm to Tigerfan7218
Of course we probably sell Sakho to Tony for 30 thus giving FSG another profitable transfer window. That should allow them to bring a nice middle reliever to the frick Sox.

Much like Adam Lallana who happens to be MISSING RIGHT NOW.

Been watching Sakho for years now... truly do NOT understand the infatuation.
He did have the definite advantage of playing beside Martin Skrtel for years, I'll give him that.

I actually think lallana is a better creator than ox, but he'll want to start and want more money. I don't see how it's a good deal at all.

Depth. We need more high tempo attacking players. Our system will require a regular rotation of the front 3. At this moment if anything happens to Firmino, Salah, or Mane we are kind of fricked.

What's up with Clyne? When is he due back?
Posted on 8/26/17 at 7:34 am to TFTC
Haven't seen anything stating a timeline... Do we think he unseats TAA as the starter when he returns though? I really don't at this point
Posted on 8/26/17 at 7:39 am to Tigerfan7218
Absolutely he does. TAA has looked good and especially going forward, but Clyne is much more solid defensively.
