Goals have flipped this match on it's head, we've bossed the last 15 minutes after looking 2nd best for the first 12 or so

90+ minutes of intensity DO NOT go to sleep on this dangerous Man City squad.

Scoreline needs to end no worse than this... Keeping the clean sheet should be the #1 priority right now

OK, Mo gets to watch the Merseyside Derby from the fancy Anfield seats now IMO.

Just finished watching.

TAA man of the match for me. Obviously that was a performance where everyone played well and everyone did their job for the clean sheet, but TAA was excellent and stayed focused all match.

I know Everton's a big match too but I would fully support everyone getting recovery days until next match day.

I'm still on edge and part of me still expecting us to not be able to pull it off at the Etihad, but holy shite this is fun to be competitive again.

Klopp on Salah
quote:

"I don't know in the moment," said Jürgen Klopp when asked for an update on the No.11 in his post-match press conference.

"He came to the sideline and said he feels sometimes something; for me, that was enough for me to not even ask the Doc how he was, we immediately took him off the pitch.

"After the game I asked him and he said, 'I will be good, it will be fine'. But now we have to wait for the real diagnosis, not Mo's self-diagnosis.

Obviously still have to wait and see, but seems hopeful. He still has to sit this weekend I imagine

Man City failed to register a single shot on target for the first time across all competitions this season.

Klopp blocked.

I was really happy he stepped up to the challenge... but in reality all 11 did (even Lovren ) ..

I was reading that City's starting fullbacks cost a combined £107mm, while ours cost a combined £8mm...

No doubt, I just feel like I need to give him a shout out because I was 100% in the camp skeptical of him going against Sane and he responded beautifully.

I’d just like to point out that I called our point total.

Less important: I was wrong about theirs, and will therefore forego a prediction on the 2nd leg.

yeah, I agree with MotM too..

I think we were all nervous of how he may fare against Sane...

If we hang on, I want Barcelona in the semis. Can’t imagine a better atmosphere than Anfield with Barcelona in town considering the recent history
