TAA man of the match for me.

Milly for me. He kept De Bruyner safely in his pocket for most of the match today IMO.

I know Everton's a big match too but I would fully support everyone getting recovery days until next match day.

Would LOVE to win the Derby, but play the damn young'uns and see if they can make it happen.

Can’t disagree. Like I said, I really thought everyone was excellent

Indeed.

And a shout-out to Dejan for not putting a single foot wrong the entire match? Hell yeah. I actually remember a mistake by VVD yesterday (tried to head a ball into the box clear, but it fell sideways and short into the box and resulted in a scramble to clear the second ball), but I can't honestly say Lovren made ANY mistakes. That and top-notch FB play and a strong MF in front was the stuff of dreams.

I like Pep for some reason--he is the same in victory as defeat--Did not use the bus ride in as an excuse. He said basically we were just whipped today in the first half.
Mourinho would of whined and called for an UN investigation.

Just been watching him all season and he keeps it all pretty even. Outside of Sterling they really don't have a turd in the bunch.

So, right now in the CL, if things stayed the same, heading to the semis would be the following Football Giants:

Barcelona
Real Madrid
Bayern Munich
Liverpool

I just don't like how he sold out at City.

Thought he had more class and prestige than that.

I get he has an ego and probably wants to win the UCL for the first time with them but it just doesn't seem to fit him.

Oh yea and F it, we don't need to buy anyone.

This potential starting lineup seems pretty close IMO:

I might make one more change and run out Moreno in place of Robbo.

Would love to nab this guy... he has refused to sign a new deal with PSG and is heading in to his last season under contract... Him and Jorginho.. add Naby.. then you have a MF that has the class to match the front 3, with depth behind it..

Add a top class partner for VVD and we are in serious business..

Per ESPN

UEFA has announced it has opened disciplinary proceedings against Liverpool over the throwing of objects at the Manchester City team bus as it arrived at Anfield on Wednesday night. More to follow...

I’d definitely put Moreno out there. Maybe even Woodburn for Ox, or at the very least sub him off early with Milner maybe. Early sub for Mané too to bring on Firmino would probably be good too.

I absolutely want to beat Everton, especially with Fat Sam there, but man seeing out the away match at City would be huge for confidence and momentum

Also gotta remember going to Man City isn't nearly as taxing as other away venues.

Just gotta buckle up and not sit back against them. Be cautious but somewhat aggressive.

Where is the game this weekend anyway?

The derby is at the Etihad... I hope the 3-0 first leg keeps their fan base away from the stadium Tuesday, that'd be nice... All we really need is one goal to make it a monumental task for them
