Early exits also spell our out and out starters for longer periods. Double edged sword there. Happy to keep Salah, Firmino and Mane fresh for the drive to top 4 and UCL.

I have a 2013/14 (the SAS year) with no name on the back, it was a collared kit so without a name on the back I can get away with wearing it as a polo to work on match days during the week.
Also have a 14/15 Gerrard kit.
If I can afford it at some point I'll buy a home kit and 3rd kit (because the colors are what my HS wore) to have the 125 year crest... Players on them are TBD

Maybe it’s just me, but I think it’s kind of stupid to say something like that less than a week after they just beat us
And honestly I was kinda hoping we would draw them in the next round. Would’ve been great to have another go at them

Well it sure is temping the soccer gods.
Like i said in our thread, once you get into the last 8 anything can happen. But you guys did get a favorable draw with Porto. We got a Sevilla side that gave you all fits. Still should have advanced but it is what it is. Only side i can see you guys being clear favorites against in the last 8 is Roma.
At the end of the day if we finish above you in the league and win the FA cup, while you only make it to the last 8 and win nothing. I'd still take it.
Congrats on the last 8, hope you draw City

Favorites smavorites. We’re one of 8 left and boast one of the top attacks still in the tournament. We have the ability to end a tie in 20 minutes. If we can avoid Juventus I like the way we match up with everyone else.

Yes Porto was a favorable draw, but let's not act like Sevilla is a world beater. Yes they're a good team obviously and can give you fits, but as you like to say, the score from our matches with them were not indicative of how it actually played out. Whatever, it is what it is.
My expectation at the start of the season was to finish top 4 and make round of 16. We've already exceeded one of those, even after losing one of our best players, so I'm pleased with how the season is going so far and our overall trajectory. We just need to finish strong and keep our CL spot

The good thing is, now that ManU has been eliminated, what's left are teams that like to come out and play instead of packing it in.
