Rashford took his chances and Pool didn’t. Shame officiating wasn’t the least bit objective, but that’s the state of the EPL. Onward and upward.

Pawson is one of the worst in the league imo... But it didn't really have any bearing on the match, we were out played

The Valencia handball is one of those you can’t get upset either way it’s called. If then penalty would have been given can’t be mad about it.
The Salah/Young incident happens all the time
The Mane/Afroman wasn’t a penalty at all. Mane was beat to the ball.
Don’t want to see you guys in the champions league if we advance, I’d probably have a heart attack. You can blitz anyone in the span of 15mins and end the entire two legged tie.

No I agree there was no atrocious call today, but Pawson still sucks... And yeah you guys are the team I'd like to see the least honestly... I think we can break down anyone, but Jose has shown he can make it very tough on us

The only call I can strenuously disagree with is near the end when he whistled stop a Liverpool offensive effort because a Man U player went down in the box.
Other than that, I had no problem with the officiating in retrospect.

Sanchez blocked a free kick and wasn't shown a card. Salah should've taken a tumble when young was all over him in the box, but I can't fault him for not. If he goes down there then good chance he draws a pen, young was all over him. Thought ashford could've seen yellow twice. Outside of the Sanchez incident there wasn't anything atrocious, but all of the judgment calls seemed to go united way

Didn’t like the refereeing but we didn’t create a single clear cut chance. I think there could have been one, possibly two penalties, but we didn’t earn anything throughout the course of the game.
It is what it is. Got out-coached, deserved the result. Mou was better than Klopp today.

I agree with the assessment that the handball was the only decision that I probably have an issue. Mane was a coming together and if Salah goes down he probably gets nothing and wastes a chance. And handballs are things that I’ve seen called and then missed. We didn’t deserve a result, Klopp has a great record against Jose but he got out coached yesterday. The good thing is that it won’t happen often.

Yeah you can bemoan the ref all you want. And rightfully so, we deserved a few calls in the box. But when you don’t create a single clear cut chance at all, you’re still just grasping at straws. I thought the result was deserved. We weren’t anywhere near scoring at any point in that game.

Our way too early exits in the domestic cup tournys have affected the development of younger players...Solanke etc
