Gomez was having a wonderful half until he misread that ball that he had no business going for. I have a hard time blaming Karius for that goal that he shouldn't have had to defend to begin with... Admittedly though, he should have saved that.

It was a rocket shot but theres no reason not to get a hand on that and deflect it wide. Sorry, no excuse for Karius there, the shot was right in front of him snd couldnt go anywhere else but near-post and he was slow to react. And that is in no way meant to excuse the mess in front of him. GKs stop shots and he badly midplayed that for the equalizer.

I love Gomez but if that poor kid ball watches or mos reads a pass it has been ending in the back of net a lot. I’m sorry but we need a clear #1 GK.

I wouldn’t say invisible... I just thought those 2 were exceptional... thought all 11!played well minus two incidents..
