Wondo passing to himself in front of the goal and then kicking it over the bar would be the end of this board.

He one upped that in the WC I'm pretty sure.

Yeah, our forwards have no touch whatsoever. I don't understand it in the slightest.

Zardes attempting to hold the ball up with his back to goal last night was tragic. We'd finally steal it from panama and he'd basically pass it right back to them.

Someone please put up the give and go GIF from the first game. That shite was so epic.

It was basically the easiest give and go setup ever. Loads of space and rather than giving it back to the go he just wacked the shite out of the ball up field under almost zero pressure.

It's floating around here somewhere but I couldn't find it on first look.

If I'm Lichaj watching Chandler get call up after call up only to play like hot garbage I would be more than a little peeved with Jurgen right now.

Watching the Toulon Tournament, Morris does not change this.

Also, the diamond doesn't work with our pool and Jurgy needs to accept this.

Why is no one pissed that Jozy is going home and Wondo is staying? I know Jozy hasn't been good, but shite.

He's clearly still injured. It's that simple. With limited minutes, he struggled. It happens. It's best that he rests and we don't have to plan around what to do if Jozy is still struggling in the knockout rounds. I really wanted him to get a full tournament in with us, but it just isn't fate I suppose.

I don't know if I'd call what Gordon does "running."

Exquisite football from our Native Son. That totally intentional rocket touch to Bedoya's chest carved up the Panamanian defense. If only Wondo had been on the end of Wondo's ball, and not Alejandro.

Wondo did have a beautiful pass to spring Bedoya on the red/PK non-call.

The problem I have with Wondo right now is that the midfield is having trouble getting the ball to the forwards, and Wondo isn't dynamic enough to help them out. If we were creating all kinds of chances I think Wondo would be doing fine.

He's a crappy Dempsey.

He's been fortunate in San Jose - usually a big target in front of him to draw attention and at least one good winger (Salinas) to provide service.

The US has none of those things. We have some marginal CMs that we shoe horn into different positions though, so there's that.

Don't forget marginal RBs and forwards that we play at winger.

I've spent a lifetime searching for the perfect description of Wondo. My quest is finally complete.

Nailed it.

Maybe J.K. wants to look at different players and Altidore wants to greet his old Sunderland mates on the 22nd. We know what Alti can do, he just isn't sharp right now, I think he would admit that, he had two horrible games.

Listening to Cobi Jones discuss it, I think he was right when he said simply that Jozy wasn't performing to to highest level right now and Jurgen went ina different direction. Maybe Jozy needs to take a break and get better physically and mentally and this is the right time.

So what level is freaking Wondo performing at?
