As international management goes, I think this is a fantastic move right?

He was pretty arse considering the resources at his disposal the last few years if you ask me but still a good coach.

Just don't run Bukayo Saka into the ground Thomas m8

Great hire.
As someone pointed out here.
National team managers need to be good at knockout tournaments and Tuchel is that.

They need to be man managers more than tacticians though and Tuchel is definitely not that.

Will be interesting to see how it goes.

Good hire for them since Southgate was limp wristed and they need a straightforward German.

Yep. Tuchel is a my way, or the highway manager. He’s great with support but will the FA not butt in? I’m hopeful to see more positive football from England.

I go back and forth on if this will work or not.

On one hand, I can see Tuchel implementing a rigid system and being very standoffish with the players if it doesn't work. If there's one thing international managers need to be, it's fluid in tactics.

On the other hand, I can see Tuchel not being as grating of a personality when players are only dealing with him 5-7 days out of a month as opposed to every day during a club season.

England fans aren't having it. They still hold a grudge over Germany for WW1 and WW2. The Sports Bar was interesting tonight on Talksport.

This discussion just makes me wonder how amazing Carlo would be as a national team manager.

I mean he may be the GOAT club team manager, but he seems like the literal perfect guy for national teams.
