First off, I want him fired. No more no less than before this news. All on performance and tactics. Now wild guesses who it is:
1. Maybe he dated in that 7 months gap and told his then new girlfriend who is now trying to get revenge after 30 years.
2. An opposimg WC team fans or press like Britian. They love gossip and are masters at getting info (Enigma Code ring a bell)
3. Gregg trying a reverse play, blackmailed himself to get sympathy and keep his job
4. Counselor. Maybe database got hacked?
5. Kids. Maybe one of the kids told someone close a spell ago and they sold it to tabloid or someone?
No idea really and I hate cancel culture! Fire him but not for this. For his tactics
I also must add, the USMNT board is dysfunctional. Nepotism got him hired to begin with. And had they fired him right afterwards then this can be dealt with privately. I hate that Gregg created a Twitter account just to report this it seems too self serving. Had he not then investigations could have happended quietly now he threw gas in fire imo. If they are investigating he had no reason to report this publically. He must feel they were going to fire him so did a prevention strike. Until he did this no one knew amd it was all he said she said. Then investigators could work quietly to find oit truth. Now no one with info will come forward as they will want to avoid press. No one they talk to will fess up as its too public.
