Dzeko will score, he always scores against Germans. Robbery will score more.

HH, I'm hoping for a nice 2-2 draw between us, and two wins against the other teams for both of us. Let's both agree to advance on these bitches

I'd be fine with that.

I'm really excited to have true European football at CoMS, Ozil, Shweinstagger, etc. will be much appreciated.

Very tough group. Of course fricking united and arsenal get easy draws. Still, that is why we spent the money we did. We certainly have enough quality to advance, much less win the group. Glad bayern is coming off a down year but still hate to see all that quality on the opposite side. If we can't beat villareal and napoli we don't deserve to make the knockout rounds.

Kun is gonna hat trick at least one of these games, you watch.
I'm not worried about the group at all.

I saw one of you assholes at the 5 on campus today. Who was wearing last year's City shirt today and went to one of LSU Dining's fine eating establishments?

What's everyone's thoughts on Nasri, particularly our line up with another attacking mid.

I would have been singing Blue Moon, so it definitely wasn't me. I wore mine on campus last year every friday

I'm sure they'll find a way to integrate him. I would think Mancini would have a plan for him considering the money they've spent...of course they have about 20 players they've spent that much on

Myself, the gf and friend will be cheering on Man City at Finn Mccools Sunday morning. Anyone else making it out?

Tevez No Longer Wants to Leave - Mancini
Apparently Tevez's family has moved to Manchester and is content to stay now. I guess we'll see if this was truly his motive for wanting out. I am a forgiving person so I guess I can give him another chance for the sake of the chase in the EPL and Champions League.

Wish I had a proper place to watch PL and City here in Miami. Most of the people here are La Liga (aka Barca) fans.

It feels a little strange not seeing Swagotelli the past few EPL matches. Does this mean he is gonna be a Carling Cup/FA Cup squad player?

It doesn't really look like there is a place for him with Dzeko, Aguero and Tevez up top. Maybe they can loan him to one of my other favorite EPL teams like Bolton

I think right now that he's probably in the doghouse with Mancini is why he's not playing more. If Balotelli returns to favor behavior wise (a big if, no doubt) I think you'd see him interchanged and getting just about as much time as any of the attackers.
If not, a loan may well end up happening but I'd guess that would be to somewhere in Serie A like Napoli or Fiorentina or Genoa ect ect if it goes that far.
Mancini has been pretty clear about the only way to compete with ManU being a complete 2+ deep that's just as strong as and interchangeable with the first team.
At this point, it's only De Jong and Kompany that I would consider true first options in the sense of drop off when they're not on the pitch.
Maybe Silva simply because he's been so good but I see the Nasri signing as an attempt to remedy dependence on him.
It's probably safer to say City doesn't have a "1st" team.

City and United seem to be the class of the league this season.
I'm so pumped.
