You would think but it doesn't seem to. Hell 6-0 probably wouldn't change anything either now that i think twice about it.

This squad with the right manager is top 4 quality.

Wenger was advanced when he arrived in England and hasn’t evolved. The game has passed him by. Thanks for the memories.

anyone else watch his post match interview? he lives in his own reality. it was cringe worthy to listen to him try to explain away the current state of the club. the NBCSN guys really layed into him too.

that's another thing ive noticed in the last year or so. the media has really made the leap from "maybe arsenal should be thinking about life after arsene..." to "man this guy is done, doesn't realize it, and is going to force arsenal to fire him". the talk has evolved from frustration/concern to pity.

It's a shame. We've regressed tactically from the banter era, which is hard to believe.

Can't believe I watched that.

Kind of sad seeing the end of Wenger with an empty stadium, but frick it. He could have walked away already.

Ehh. We are starting a few guys that probably wouldn’t start for any of the other top 6 teams. Realistically how many of our current starters would start for Man City right now ?

In terms of technique, I think we have some players who are very good, but we don't use them in a way that their technique can shine. I think Pep could do far more with this current squad than Wenger could.

Idk, Arsenal had to pony up for some of these players. Even a guy like Ramsey, when on, there were talks about real wanting him.

It's Wenger. It has to be. We've seen this team, with similar players, take it to teams.

He's defeated. It's very sad. He didn't make a sub. I mean, what the frick was that about?

Oh and pep would gladly take bellerin. Peps central midfielders wouldn't hang him out to dry.

I only watched the first half. It's the first time I ever quit watching an Arsenal match intentionally before it was over. Does Wenger make it through the season?

There really isn't anything to salvage at this point. I guess someone else could do a better job in Europa, but what else is there? The tickets are all sold. Might as well save some energy and go after a permanent manager in the summer.

Here is an example of some amazing defensive work.

Watch Xhaka. It's amazing.

I know that Xhaka and Mustafi have been poor this year. Which player hasn't been?

Two points here - These guys deserve a chance under a new manager. There's a reason both cost us 35 mill. Both have shown quality at times.

Secondly selling them means replacing them. We already need 1 CB. We sell Mustafi and that leaves us with old, injury prone Kos and the youth and inexpierence of Chambers and Holding. We need to add quality before we start selling everyone. We can only turn over so much of the roster in one summer window.
