newcastle team is so much faster than us..they are are relentless in the pursuit, something that arsenal has struggled to deal with

I don't see us keeping Costa and Greizmann from scoring when they want against us.

And the D strikes again. We could have messi and ronaldo....the d would still cost games.

we give away the ball way too easily..teams have figured that out and are pressuring us to make so many if these silly mistakes

Guys. We played our B squad. Chill.

We are clearly all in for Europa. League matches are basically irrelevant at this point.

I’m not happy with a loss but whatever man. I’ll take losing out if we can win Europa.

When we don't win europa I'd like to at least compete in europa next year. 2 points from 7th.

I'm trying to be rational because a positive will happen either way: either we win Europa or Arsene will certainly be gone next season.

Would y’all be happy with an ancelotti/Henry coaching combo? Heard that mentioned on the 606 pod. Could be interesting. I’d be all for it if I were an arsenal supporter.

Please god no. If Henry wants to come here, he can cut his teeth elsewhere.

Agreed and if we were going to hire a former player I'd want Arteta. He's learning under Pep and he always seemed like an extra coach on the pitch when he played for Arsenal. Arteta just seems to have the makeup to be a successful manager.

Seems Luís Enrique is being contacted by Arsenal.

I'd be slightly disappointed with that. I'd rather Allegri or Jardim.

Well he’d be learning from Ancelotti, who just happens to have won 3 champions league titles.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who injured knee ligaments in the first leg of the quarterfinal against CSKA Moscow, will miss the West Ham match but Wenger said it's "possible" he could be back for the game against Atletico.

Mkhitaryan is running again and will try to step up his training over the coming days, Wenger said.

It didn't work for Paul Clement who worked under Ancelotti and it probably won't work for Henry. There is a vast difference in being assistant to a manager and being a manager. And while Ancelotti is a good manager, I don't think he's what we need. We need a manager who will give us a framework for both defending and attacking. That by itself is good enough for 10 to 15 points without any additions to the team. We would probably win a cup with Ancelotti, but we would be just be delaying the inevitable, as Ancelotti would run our first team players into the ground. We can't recreate his Milan teams, and everywhere else he's been the attacking version of Mourinho. We would be great in Europe and Xhaka might see his full potential under him, but we have to be forward thinking.

Honestly Steve Bould is a better candidate than Henry. Henry should cut his teeth elsewhere and earn this chance. Otherwise we should go with Jardim if we have the opportunity.
