And he STILL went all game and scored. Mans a tough son of a gun. I’d love it if we gave him the armband for years to come.

No idea. He’s always had a lot of (unfair, imo) critics. It seems to me that for the longest time the fan base was divided between Aaron and Jack.
You had fans who staunchly supported one and thought the other was complete shite.

So given that they’ve pretty much had to compete against each other for a spot in the XI, a lot of people thought he was undeserving of being in the team ahead of Jack (when fit) due to Jack’s performance against Barca eons ago.

I love JW but honestly, Aaron is a much better overall player than Jack ever thought about being. I think people are starting to see that now, thankfully (and yes, I realize the two of them played together in a mid 3. No, I don’t think it is the answer next season).

Anyways, we are apparently trying to sign up to a new deal which is great. He deserves it and is our best CM by a long shot.

The club doesn't want him to leave. He has one year left on his deal after this season. So people are speculating that he may not sign an extension. I don't believe it for a second. He will get paid. We just have to go through negotiations.

The goal today tied him with Cesc for the most goals by an Arsenal midfielder. If we don't give him whatever he wants I'll be pissed. I've been a Ramsey fanboy since the goal that kept us in the top 4 and beat ManU. He has had dips as all players do, but his effort and commitment cannot be questioned. How good would Liverpool be if they had him instead of Henderson?

Well, I dont think Ramsey would be playing as a DM if we had him... which, by the way, I'd take him in a heartbeat.. pair him up with Baby Keith next year as the two #8s..

I expect him to re-up with you guys...

Yeah, it was going to come down to AM in the semis or the finals.

I’m glad we got them in the aggregate.

...and they look very impressive. Willock is holding his own with the bully of all bullies, JJ Shelvey.

They are defending much better in midfield. Some of it organization, but, most of it is effort. They are really fighting for 50/50 balls so far.

I've tried really hard to stay positive about Mustafi and not overreact but get him the hell out of here. He either doesn't care or is as dumb as a box of rocks.

He just needs a good defensive coach... I feel like Wenger like doesn't teach any at training
