Giroud to chelsea. Why? why the frick we we do that? Just gave them a consistent attacking option they didnt really have.

And yeah we have welbeck, but he has never scored at the clip giroud has and prob never will. Never scored more than 9 goals in the PL.

Yep. I don't like it either, but this is what it took to get the deal done.

I would rather have Lacazette, Aubameyang, Welbeck
Than keep Giroud and not get Auba

What has me excited is if we are pulling off this kind of business in the January window just imagine the possibilities in the summer. Absolutely love the new direction we are going in. This is at least some of the changes we wanted. Great to have some positivity surrounding the club.

Wish the game was at the Emirates and Giroud could get a last substitute appearance the ovation he deserves. Hopefully the traveling supporters serenade him regardless

If Mkhi isn't on to replace Iwobi by the 60th minute of a 0-0 game against Swans, I'm gonna choke a bitch.

I wish there was a way to keep him. He has given us many classic wonder goal moments.

That's what I don't get, why does Arsenal always "have to do x to get y"?

Why can't we just straight up buy a player? We traded players basically.

I'm not disappointed in the players we got. Just that the whole point is to strengthen the squad to fight on all fronts. And the fact that a couple of seasons ago we bought a gk and that's it was stupid. So poor decisions in the past have lead to where we are now.

Giroud wants out because it's last chance at the World Cup. He's been a great servant to the club. Are we supposed to keep him as 3rd choice striker and have an unhappy player? Not to mention the message it sends to other possible signings. The message that even though you served the club we will stand in your way to keep you as 3rd choice striker.
