Bc Dortmund is refusing to sell him unless they get a replacement. And the only way to guaranty they get a replacement this late in the window is to use our own resources. Sure, you can say its Dortmund's responsibility to get their own replacement, but that doesn't help us if they refuse to sell.

Regardless, all that matters is that Mustafi and Xhaka are atrocious defenders. They need to go and be replaced in the summer

Giroud wants out because it's last chance at the World Cup. He's been a great servant to the club. Are we supposed to keep him as 3rd choice striker and have an unhappy player? Not to mention the message it sends to other possible signings. The message that even though you served the club we will stand in your way to keep you as 3rd choice striker.

I'm not trying to start a fight here, but wtf has laca actually done?

I just don't like it. Possibly because rvp and Giroud have been two of my all time favorites. And we sold them to clubs that win, while we just take a back seat.

Get a new manager in and give them a chance. There's a reason why these guys were considered big signings. We can get rid of them but as long as Wenger is in charge we will suffer defensively no matter who we sign.

How is Wenger responsible for Xhaka just not tracking runners? I mean the Clucas run was evident for a good two seconds right in front of Xhaka and he did nothing.

How is this any different from our other midfielders who forget to track runners over the last few years? It's a systematic problem not just one player.

yeah it's almost like he made the run in slow motion and xhaka still did nothing.

Another mental error. We implode defensively almost every match.

We might be good for another season, but need to think about a gk as well sooner than later.

Yep. Don't get me wrong that was a pretty terrible whiff by Cech but in those conditions i partly blame Mustafi for that.

The real blame is on Nacho. Should have never thrown it in that area. Mustafi was poor though.

nothing compared to the man who he's (wrongly, fight me if anyone disagrees) shoved out of the team

yeah I was a big RVP fan and even bigger Giroud fan. It's something that I understand but can't accept---we would rather sell our best players to our biggest rivals and title contenders (not this season, but MU & Chelsea are top 4 rivals) than do what needs to be done to keep them.

Also £18m for France's leading striker to a direct rival is low imo

Agreed the throw in was not a wise decision at all.

This summer our needs imo - 1. Defensive minded CM 2. Centerback 3. Keeper

Keeper
who would y'all want? Dream signing for me is Alisson but we'd never break the record on a keeper.
Also think a backup right back would be nice for when Hector is injured or loses form

So now that we're about to go 8 points back of 4th and soon 6 points back of the last Europa League spot, how are we all feeling about no European play at all next year?

How bad does it have to get before the fans simply stop going, stop buying merchandise and making Kroenke lose lots and lots of money?
