The United States would host 60 of the 80 matches while Canada and Mexico would host 10 matches each. There are currently 23 candidate host cities (three in Canada, three in Mexico, and 17 in the United States) in the bid and, if the bid is successful, then the number of host cities in the three countries will be cut down over time to 16, according to the bid book (three in Canada, three in Mexico, and 10 in the United States). All matches from the quarterfinals forward including World Cup Final would take place in the United States.
I'm ready to pre-order tickets at the Benz right now, dammit.

Nope, I looked and Japan voted for the United Bid.

Oh... and frick Brazil.
Edit:
As far as I could see from the chart provided, every country in Central America, South America, and the Caribbean (except Cuba, but frick them too) voted for the United Bid.
Except for Brazil who voted Morocco.

We should have gotten the 2022 bid, and in my opinion the people who voted to put the World Cup in Qatar should be put on trial for crimes against humanity and then executed by being thrown off one of the shitty stadiums they built that will never be used again. It’s estimated that over 4000 people/slaves will die at the end of it to bring us a bunch of men kicking a ball up and down an open field. That’s a higher death toll than 9/11. Meanwhile the US could host the World Cup next fricking week with no issues whatsoever and not a single person dying.
The only reason we got the bid is because we’re breathing down their necks and building up cases against monsters like Sepp Blater and Jack Warner, who will hopefully be brutally executed for their crimes. Let’s host the World Cup, fine, but we, Canada, Australia/New Zealand, Europe, and East Asia should refuse to go to the 2022 World Cup. That’s a World Cup built on the corpses of slaves, and it’s simply sickening for modern society to put up with this.

Well, this is one way to get the team to qualify.

So for the U.S., it'll probably be Pasadena, Arlington, Atlanta, New York, Seattle, Kansas City, Washington, Foxborough, Miami, and Houston

The fact morocco got 65 votes goes to show you how big of a shite show this is.
I think Bill Clinton chimed in:
"I ended up voting for None, the bag of money the Moroccans gave me had a None on it, i think that was right?"

I was considering moving to the West Coast in about 2-3 more years. May have to reconsider to make sure I have plenty of leave time and money.

Might be getting ahead of myself, but this is shaping up to be our golden years. Guys like Pulisic, Mckennie, Adams, CCV, Sargent will be in the 26-28 range. The prime of their careers. Almost worked out better for us to get this one. Can’t wait

I can easily see me dropping +$10k on this tournament.

Had no bribery shite been going down, 2018 should have been in England/UK and 2022 should have been solely the US.
We definitely got fricked.

Miami will likely be getting a spot.
Why would Houston be a lock over Dallas?

It won't be.
Dallas/Arlington will almost surely get a group stage matches, knockout matches and a shot at the Final, which it will not be awarded.
