And they will keep showing up when their clubs are fighting to stay up, and they'll be there when they get a shot to fight for European spots, and they'll be there when they're fighting for cup competitions. And if they're fans in the Championship or League One or League Two or the National League, they'll be there too for the fight to climb to the next rung to join those above them.
Still don’t see how fans of the crappier teams in this will get excited about there club getting beat year in and year out by the same teams.

Sorry if this was answered but will SL teams be beholden to “fair play” rules which limit how much you can spend and how much you can make, etc?
If not this could be a very interesting arms race to watch.

FFP basically got blown up when City escaped getting banned from Europe.

You utter moron.

This is happening because the smaller opponents near the bottom of the bigger leagues aren’t playing compelling enough games against the top teams. I saw Manchester City play Burnley recently and it was a joke... Even City probably gets tired of 80% possession sometimes
Again, you fricking moron.

They're in their own world with their own rules.
It basically is a lot of the same concept

It isn't related to your team. The teams in the super league are arguing in effect, that they deserve a slice of TV money in perpetuity, when the fact that Ajax was once the most famous club in Europe and can be considered a farm system now (when that really isn't true in terms of play on the field, as they are better than about half of the teams in the super league, in terms of technical level) undermines the very notion that they deserve it in perpetuity. The mere fact of a specific type of globalization is happening, and the clubs who are leading it are English led, isn't a strong enough reason to codify a financial and sporting arrangement of this degree. If Ajax, Marseille, AC Milan and Steaua Bucuresti said in 1995, we deserve 90% of the money because we are the best, and no one else could possibly reach our level, and that fact should be codified in a sporting arrangement, you would think they are crazy. The mere fact that certain teams are popular now doesn't mean they will be popular forever.
You're other point is stupid because we've seen numerous examples of "lower" teams playing these so-called super league teams off the field. Half the super league haven't won a league title since 2014. Lyon, Porto, and Ajax all beat Juventus. Ajax destroyed Madrid, and should have beat Tottenham if it were not for the miraculous work of Lucas Moura.
It's like people think this particular sporting arrangement should exist forever, and don't see why it is deeply stupid, and anti-competitive. The mere fact of a constellation of random events which allowed a certain arrangement isn't an argument for the continuation of that arrangement.

Like when Chelsea got screwed by Ovrebo and had to wait 3 years for Barcelona again, it made it so much sweeter when we knocked them out. And you'll never get some sort of real rivalry with this league. It can't be manufactured.
And we wouldn't have gotten Gary Neville's weird moan when Torres rounded Valdes.
I was watching CL highlights earlier, and man, were there some fantastic singular moments. Ronaldo's hat-trick at Old Trafford that resulted in a standing ovation, Henry's goal at the Bernabeu, that Messi goal in 2011 against Madrid, the '99 Final, the heartbreak of that 2019 semi-final between Ajax-Tottenham, that insane Madrid-Juve game. All were made meaningful by the fact that these were singular events.
I'm convinced these owners see the audiences in Asia, Africa, and America as completely unable to form attachments to clubs, but I think they fundamentally misunderstand the audience. From reports, the American owners don't get it, and likely never will.

No of course not, because they all own teams in sports where they can do poorly yearly and still make a ridiculous amount of Money
I’m just a little surprised that you’re surprised that these men act this way.
It’s a terrible tournament, but it really isn’t all that shocking these guys have pushed this considering where they come from

You mean a club for the People's Republic.

All the more argument to drive these ghouls out of the sport forever.
