I couldn't watch the US match, but it seems like that was the right move.

The sad thing is that if you've watched the last couple of years then the match wasn't completely surprising.

I watched it Finns. There was a Mexican fan there cheering every time Guatemala did something good. I wish I had just stayed home and gone to sleep early. It would have been a better use of my time.

a lot of our best players have devolved as players because they went back to get paid in the MLS (jozy, bradley, etc)
some of that generation never developed (mix, many CBs, etc). some of this is due to MLS. some is just how sports goes
we currently have injuries
jurgen played a ton of guys out of position
jurgen seems to have a starting lineup, vague positional listings, and then when the game starts its chaos
we have no real tactics, which is great with a mixed bag of talent playing out of position without real roles or semblance of team
some of that generation never developed (mix, many CBs, etc). some of this is due to MLS. some is just how sports goes

I don't expect Tiki Taka, but I've watched the African cup of nations in the last few days and seen countries like Sudan play more aethestically pleasing soccer. Those motherfrickers don't even have running water. We aren't going to progress as a nation until we ditch hoof it up soccer. Sadly, the U23 group did the same shite yesterday. How does Jurgen accept that? The guy was a German footballer and he accepts a hit and hope strategy. I just can't wrap my head around it. I watched Argentina and chile play the other day and they were hitting frozen rope, one touch passes that glued to their teammates foot when it arrived. The times we aren't sending it 40 yards downfield and praying Dempsey wins it in the air, it's clunking off our guys foot like a trampoline. Poor first touch leads to panic and hit and hope. It's pathetic how much we've regressed and I hate I care that much about it.

Also seems like Coach is still experimenting I a game he should not be experimenting. I felt like he was doing that in Gold Cup , and CONCACAF Cup Playoff with MX as well. Is he experimenting or just indecisive?

ALL OF THIS. Why are we sooo terrible at this? Why can't we have crisp passing and composure? It's frustrating? I realize it starts at an early age being taught fundamentals, but why haven't we seen any change?
