Way to let the CONCACAF down Honduras. They probably lost cause all their best players are on our border right now.

I actively rooted against Mexico in both their games. I think it's bullshite that bc Brazil can't finish gilt edged chances, mexico's goalie had the game of his life, and they beat the worst team in the tournament 1-0 that they're being hailed as this amazing team. I hope Croatia smokes them 4-0.

That being said, it's a petty nice silver lining to be able to throw this in international fans' faces who think that Africa and Asia are significantly better than North America, or that the European and South American teams who were close to qualification could come over and just destroy all of concacaf

I rooted for Brazil, but I see the silver lining. Any Concacaf team win makes the US look better, for we are the Champions of Concacaf.

That's not why CONCACAF wins are important. There is an actual, tangible reason to hope for CONCACAF success, and that reason is an additional WC spot, so if we have a poor qualifying tourney in the future, we can still get in the Cup.

They are our chief rival and their fans are perhaps the worst in this hemisphere, eve worse than Philly fans.

Disagree. The lunatic fringe is out there, but most supporters are just regular folks who obsessively follow a team. Most of the fans I know
in the UK are passionate about their country (England/Scotland/Wales/N.Ireland) but they're FANATICAL about their club.

I've only ever been to one USA vs. MEX match, it was a friendly about 10 years ago in Houston, and it was pretty chilled, but I'm convinced most of THOSE Mexican fans were actually Mexi-mericans. Many had a US flag painted on one cheek and a Tri on the other. (the match ended in a 0-0 draw, and shortly afterwards, Tim Howard was signed by Man U).

Contrast that with actual Mexican fans that used to dwarf the US crowds in the Rose Bowl and the Coliseum, and those jokers were straight NASTY. Almost like they hated everything the US stood for. No respect for us at all, and that is why that resentment and disrespect is reciprocated by the core of US fans.

Im talking about outside the US. Philly fans would shite their pants over here.

And the fear of Philly fans in America is a joke. When you have to interact with them on a regular basis like Redskins and Giants fans do you find out their bark is much louder than their bite.

Chillax. I made my "Philly fan" comment as a point of reference to which an uninitiated soccer fan may relate.
