His delivery has not been great (or even good) and he tries to score directly from one at least once a match.

Part of me worries that this was the plan they drew up. It also bothered me that we had to do u10 stuff to get the ball off of Bradley's right foot on the opposite side.

I think the coaching staff draw up the corners like that. It's obviously rehearsed. Who would we replace Bradley with? I don't think we have a better replacement for him.

Benny or Sacha ( ) both are probably better than Bradley as a #10, and both are better set piece takers.

I think the bigger issue with corners is we don't really have a Ching/Gooch/Goodson/Bocanegra beast to get a head on corners.

Brooks is getting there. For as big as Omar is, he doesn't really finish a lot with his head (for the US or LA). Jozy doesn't. Dempsey finishes with his head a lot, but usually from the run of play, not on corners.

It's probably more of "why the hell not, nobody here is going to smash it home anyway."

Bradley has been pretty bad at crosses for a while.

He is the MVP of passing to the other team. Maybe he does well in some games, but I recall him also being terrible in the World Cup. I've never liked him.

If you haven't been watching long enough to tell that he is one of our best players, if not our absolute best, then you need to watch this team a little longer.

If he's our best player, no surprise we're losing to the likes of Jamaica and Panama.

Psych, don't know how much you watch but we play him along with a lot of others out of position. It's what Jurgen does.

Be that as it may, his deficiencies are being exposed at his current position, and he's not as sharp or effective as he was when he was playing in Italy.

What he does do that very few of our players can do is make a difference-making play that leads to a goal. So definitely still one of our most important players, if not "the best", but he seems to screw up a lot more than he used to.
