I'd say the order can matter. Especially considering the jersey looks like the flag of another country.

I think they were dark gray. Originally super light gray/silver that couldn't be seen on TV.

That has a lot more to do with the shade of blue, which I agree is bad.

Nope, the numbers on the Waldo's had a blue outline with blue dots inside. It made them look sort of gray, but they were blue. Click the image below for the full size.

The first ones that came out were a silver/gray number and they had to change it because it was hard to see. I think the silver numbers saw one game.
