I didn't realize people actually took friendlies seriously. You guys probably put a lot of stock into what football coaches say during pre-season practices too.

After all RandySavage is a Chelsea fan. The club with the lowest collective IQ for fans in the world.
Chelsea fans seem to be pretty easily the smartest to me. They generally don't give a shite about stuff that doesn't matter like how much possession you have or how many passes you complete, they only care about scoring more goals than the other team. Which, last time I checked, was the entire point of the game.

So based on the spring games you saw a couple of months ago, who is going to win the SEC this year?
I can analyze what I see as well, guys scoring goals who would almost certainly not be playing in a real game vs. other guys who would not be playing in a real game.

Since Jurgy took over we have won in Italy, Holland and Germany. Three of the best 10 soccer countries on the planet.
Which has never been done before. Friendly or not, we've never won in any of these countries before. Now we have wins in all three. There is obvious improvement in that alone.

Glad to see you're taking Bhoy's place in this thread.

thats a terrible comparison...
I hear ya though... I don't think it really means a whole lot, but anytime you can go to the defending world champions and beat them, its something...

The caliber of the team we played had nothing to do with it. We beat Germany at their place. That's never happened. Throughout all the years, friendly, competitive, doesn't matter. The point is JK is improving this team, there's no arguing that.

I agree, thats why I said it mean something... just not a whole lot to me.
If others got a great deal of joy out of it, I'm happy for them!
I'll freely admit when it comes to US Soccer, I just show up for prime time... I'm a bad fan!

You're right friendlies are hugely indicative of results will go in matches that actually matter.

Haven't we only played them there twice?

This, my only point is it's naive and below SCH, or anyone, to use friendly results to justify his position on Jurgen.
