But, I’m having a hard time justifying giving MLS any money. I know my few $’s won’t mean anything, but what Miami is able to do isn’t right or good for fans that truly want what’s best for MLS or player development in the US. The only thing that matters for MLS owners is $ so I don’t think they care that Miami has a huge advantage when it comes to signing players on the cheap because they want to play with Messi.

Anyway, I have to decide if I want to see Messi play in person or stick to my principles of fair play.

They are also trying to play at arrowhead

So much for keeping that Sporting Atmosphere and rewarding loyalty to regular match day fans

MLS is a joke

I’m actually all for teams being able to spend what ever to be competitive

The problem is MLS had different rules for different franchises or will change them to help certain franchises

It’s another reason why the league isn’t taken seriously

What really frustrates me, is MLS could have used Messi funds to improve the league long term. Use the extra funds to raise pay for players so they can bring in better talent which would then bring in more fans for all clubs. But, we see MLS owners pocketing the money and keeping the status quo. Such a huge disappointment on so many levels.

It was pretty obvious they were going to do that

This isn’t going to have the effect that Beckham had

These Messi fans are not going to keep watching MLS once he leaves

I don’t live in Shreveport anymore, thank God, I live closer to KC now.

Edited to say I’m just too lazy to change my stupid name on here. Plus, I don’t want to lose my 3000 post count!!!

The league and it’s franchises are a shame

They don’t care about growing the game

Typical STL

Thinking they are the country’s gift the sports fans

And your franchise isn’t the shining light example, MLS is a collective as one.
