I want to gauge how the SB rates these players based on their most recent national team form. (1 = worst, 6 = not as bad)
-Jonathan Bornstein
-Oguchi Onyewu (post knee surgery)
-Ricardo Clark
-Kyle Beckerman
-Maurice Edu
-Robbie Findley
-Anyone else you care to nominate

I'll be honest and say I haven't seen Beckerman play all that often but when I do, he is AWFUL. How he made it to the national team I have no earthly idea. Worst player I've ever seen rep the U.S.
Hopefully Jurgen gives Josh Gatt a chance on the team. Dude can flat out fly down the wing.

Just when I thought you couldn't get anymore idiotic.
Do you not remember Bornstein's Gold Cup Final costing us a championship?
Don't recall Gooch getting burned against Antigua in June?
Don't remember Edu replacing a horrid Ricardo Clark during the Ghana match at the World Cup?
Don't recall that Robbie Findley hasn't had a national team cap since 2010?

He was bad against Jamaica but that lineup was a disaster waiting to happen for a lot of reasons. Otherwise, I've thought he's usually been better than I expected. He's not the option that's going to have us competing well with elite teams but does a solid job of reading the game defensively, does a pretty good job of recycling possession and winning 50/50s and makes some nice passes to start breaks

Worst hairstyle maybe but unfortunately he's nowhere near the bottom in my opinion.

I agree with most of that except for the passing part.. And he has a tendency to give away cheap fouls to more athletic opponents

With the exception of Jamaica, Beckerman has been good for us. He's not an athletically gifted player, so he can look out of his class against the Brazil's of the world. That said, he's a much better player than Edu, and his current form with the Nats is much better than Jermaine Jones'.
Michael Bradley is clearly our number 1 CDM. I'd probably plug Williams in at #2 after finally getting to see him play the position.

Fair enough since I deliberated throwing an "occasionally" in there

3-1 are pretty much the same

There were other people sucking as well. Also, while Bornsucko is a defensive liability, he does add something to the attack. Edu is only worthwhile on set pieces. He is a liability on offense and defense during open play.

Gooch also played regularly for Sporting Lisbon and recently transferred to Malaga. Being that both of these leagues are better than the SPL according to you, and because someone playing in a higher league must be better according to your logic, Gooch must be better than Edu.

Clark's last few caps have been surprisingly good. He was named the starter by Bob Bradley who, according to many on here, is a much better tactician and manager than Jurgy. Although he was awful in that Ghana match, Edu didn't do much better once he came on. During the Qualifiers Clark was a much better player than he was at the WC and his drop in form didn't occur until the later stages of the Hex. Edu, on the other hand, has only showed flashes of competence. He has never merited the praise he has been given on here and until Rangers were forced to downsize due to their impending liquidation he was not a regular in the starting XI.

The difference between Edu and Findley is miniscule in my ratings. However, using your standard, until recently Findley was regularly playing for a higher league and against better competition than Edu was.

I don't even want to rate them. I hope that the ones that are still actually playing with the team get pushed aside by depth/youth very quickly. Maybe gooch can get some Kobe-like treatment in Germany and make it back.

Edu is in the SPL? That's breaking news.

Edu has played 0 matches for Stoke. And I'm pretty sure thenry would agree that Malaga is better than Stoke.

Edu is better than Gooch. Edu is better than you give him credit for. Clearly biased against him due to the Rangers situation.

Other than Edu, where has my "bias against Rangers" been thought of? I highly rate McGregor, I believe Jelavic to be a good striker (thenry enjoys taking my statement about him out of context: I did not believe he was worth the 10 mill pounds that was being reported in the Summer Window), I dislike Bedoya because if he was unable to get a game in Admin Rangers he's not good enough for the USMNT (I have since seen him play for Helsingborgs and he was awful), and I was completely right about Charlie Adam, Bartley, Krissy Boyd, and Hutton. One can see class past club allegiance.

No fricking kidding. The all time leading scorer in the SPL is a joke. I'm pissed that we traded Kenny Cooper so we could get him. I'm glad that he's found his way to the bench now that Bright Dike has turned it on.

Gooch is still in Portugal then. Hasn't played any matches for Malaga yet. And while Malaga is better than Stoke, you should probably take their financial situation into consideration when analyzing why Gooch is there on loan.
